Dive into this: 6 brand-spankin' new skeins of Phildar's Flammé Coton in Denim, a gorgeous denim blue color flecked with white, perfect for spring, summer or mid-season weather. This yarn has just been discontinued by Phildar, but here is your chance to get the very last of it! 96% cotton, 4% polyester. Slightly variegated. Machine-washable. 6-8 US (3.5-4mm) needles, 20 sts and 26 rows 4"x4" (10x10 cm) square. 1.76 oz (50 grams) in each skein, 106 yds (98 m). I am saving a few skeins for myself, and this is the project I had in mind when I bought this yarn because it has the EXACT same gauge, yet the texture in this yarn makes a simple tank interesting:

OR, this child's striped sweater from Phildar's Pitchoun Spring 2003. (This pattern is not included and I don't provide it. All the Phildar patterns I follow are in French, but I can provide an English translation of this pattern in printed version with the yarn. The 6 skeins can make up to size 8 years, but note that you'd need one skein of cream-colored cotton yarn if you'd like to create the stripes and a little bit of red to work the trim around the collar. )

The average price for this yarn in Phildar boutiques in France is 3 euros a skein, and is extremely difficult to find in stores abroad. When available, it costs 30%-60% higher! I'm sharing this batch from my stash for 2.50 euros [! :-)] a skein. Total cost is only 15 euros + shipping. I ship worldwide*.
