Dive into this wonder batch: 8 brand-spankin' new skeins of Plassard Tahiti in cream. 100% cotton. Machine-washable. 3 US (3mm) needles, 25 sts and 32 rows 4"x4" (10x10 cm) square. 1.76 oz (50 grams) in each skein, 186 yds (170 m). Check this out: This yarn is just like Rowan 4 ply cotton. Literally. It's identical! Same gauge. Same composition. Even the yardage is identical (Rowan 4 ply is 186 yards, too). Resulting fabric is the same. And I know all this, because I took a skein of Rowan 4 ply cotton with me when I went to my LYS in search of a substitute. Tahiti was the answer. The only thing different was the price, as Tahiti is half the price of 4 ply cotton. Woot!

I bought this batch so I could make Alice from Rowan 25 last summer, but it got pushed out of the way with all the other projects I was knitting. Still, this yarn could be used for any Rowan pattern that requires 8 skeins or less of 4 ply cotton. I don't plan on knitting it this spring, and my local Plassard boutique is having another bi-yearly sale in the summer. And that means I can just pick up some more! In the meantime, maybe one of my online knitting buds can use this batch.

I'm sharing this entire batch of yarn for 24 euros plus shipping. Priority shipping is approximately 13 euros to America and 11 euros within Europe. Surface shipping is 9 euros to America and 7 euros within Europe. Shipping costs are approximate and subject to change.
