Three needle bind-off. I tried backstitch at first, just to see how it would look, and decided that it made my shoulders look like Joan Crawford's on a shoulder pad bender. Hence the three-needle bind-off. And then I got those so enormous stakes masquerading as needles and picked up stitches for the neckband while watching a rerun of Dead Zone. (So glad that Anthony Michael Hall is finding work.) A few inches into the neckband. Just 10 more cms to go! (Where's Keanu so he can massage my hands?) I did it! I did it! My drink of choice for this particular finishing party: a TEQUILA orange, bay-bee. No, your eyes do not deceive you. I'm stranding that bad boy in the manner of fairisle. Oh, how FANCY.

[Actually, I'm just weaving in the end of the yarn I joined in at the beginning of the row. I personally like to use stranding as a means to weave in ends for pieces that have no seams and whose "wrong side" may show.]
The happy end is near. Just a couple more rows and... ...we got a neckband! Want another tequila orange? Why yes, I think I do. (I love my lazy weekend afternoons.)
