Christmas market! [The afternoon crowds will crush you. Go before lunch.] | The Santons! This year we got the Three Wise Men and an angel. | Someone got a Santa hat with flashing lights (love the Christmas kitsch) and a Saint Nicholas cookie. [Awwwwwwwwww!] | La pâte d'amandes will make you drool. Really, it will. (Did me, anyhow.) | This is the guy who makes those delicious confections. As I snapped shots of his stand like a camera-happy tourist, he complimented my kid on his newly acquired flashing Santa hat. | They're eating waffles smothered in Nutella. I couldn't resist snapping a shot for you. (The girl busted me, by the way. Notice her smiling?) | I think I'll pass on the waffles. Give us some vin chaud, bay-bee! | |
