This fresque, one of several "trompe l'oeil" murals in Lyon, has images of luminaries from and around Lyon, including Saint-Exupéry, the Lumière brothers and Jacquard. Dancing in front of the fresque. [Awwwww!] They say that there are three rivers that go through Lyon. The Saône, the Rhône and the Beaujolais. Hehe. Dude! You like my cardi? All sides of the building are painted with fresques. Here's my dog posing in front of one side. [Aww!] (Painted books and cds by people from Lyon.) Another side of the building. Here's a zoom. That's Jacquard, holding the textile. Looking at the painted breads and pastry. [Aww!] All that sightseeing made us hungry for - get ready for this - BAGELS. [Yum!] BAGEL! My reward for slaving over the cardi.

(Miscellaneous tidbit: I couldn't sit back against the brick because my cardi caught on it. Pulling it away was like pulling apart VELCRO! That's how fluffy this cardi is.)
